Story
Hi, my name is Amanda, and I’m reaching out on behalf of one of the strongest women I know, my sister, Jamie (Shelton) Oxidine.
At just 36 years old, Jamie has been diagnosed with metastatic colorectal cancer. Since her diagnosis, she has already endured a major surgery and hospital stay. The cancer has spread, and her journey is far from over. But through it all, Jamie’s faith in the Lord has never wavered.
Jamie and her husband Randy are raising their beautiful 5-year-old daughter, Ella. Recently, Randy had to come out of work temporarily due to his own health issues. While that has added to the financial strain, it’s been a blessing in disguise as it has allowed Randy to be home with Jamie, supporting her every step of the way.
This journey is just starting, but it is sure to bring many challenges, including mounting medical bills, the loss of income, and the daily realities of managing a home, a young child, and a serious illness. Jamie and Randy remain steadfast in their faith, and we’ve already seen the Lord’s hand at work in their lives. Now, we’re hoping to be His hands and feet in another way—by lifting some of the burden they’re carrying.
How You Can Help:
We’re raising funds to help cover:
Medical bills and treatments not covered by insurance
Prescriptions and medical supplies
Travel costs for doctor visits and future hospital stays
Basic living expenses like groceries, utilities, and housing
Support for Ella’s needs as her parents focus on healing and recovery
If you feel led, any donation, big or small, will make a difference. And if you’re unable to give financially, please consider sharing this page and lifting Jamie and her family up in prayer.
We are deeply grateful for your kindness, generosity, and faith. Thank you for helping us support Jamie in this fight and surround her with love and hope.
With love and gratitude,
Amanda and Family
